Freshman Day!!!

On 3 September, the Faculty of Natural Sciences hosted a solemn event dedicated to Freshman Day. This event brought together teachers, students, parents and friends of the Faculty, in particular the Department of Forestry and Agricultural Management.

 

The Vice-Rector of the University, Doctor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, Professor Sergey Vladimirovich Sharyn, delivered the greetings. He congratulated the freshmen on behalf of all the teachers and students, wishing them success in their studies, inspiration and self-confidence.

The Dean of the School, Viktor Sluchyk, also addressed the students with a wish for easy adaptation, a harmonious combination of study and leisure, as well as great achievements and vivid impressions in the new academic year. The congratulations were joined by the heads of the departments, who emphasised their role as mentors and guides in the process of students’ education and professional development.

The faculty’s student activists did not stand aside either. Senator Khrystyna Voitkiv and the head of the student trade union Anna-Maria Dobrianska spoke about the opportunities of student life.
